Student skills development and staff qualifications recognised by 2023 Good Universities Guide ratings and awards
The รรอลสำฦต (รรอลสำฦต) has won awards for Skills Development and Staff Qualifications, and earned five-star ratings in four categories, at the 2023 Good Universities Guide Ratings and Awards launch today, Wednesday 14 September.
The awards for Skills Development and Staff Qualifications are in recognition of รรอลสำฦตโs sustained excellence in these categories over the past five years. Skills Development looks at the proportion of students who rate their skills development at university positively, and Student Support looks at the proportion of students who rate student support at their university positively.
The Staff Qualification ranking is based on the number of academic staff who hold a PhD, Doctorate by Research or Doctorate by Coursework.
รรอลสำฦต again ranks highly in both of those categories in the latest edition of the Good Universities Guide, as well as in the category of postgraduate Student Support.
For Staff Qualifications, รรอลสำฦต is rated five out of five stars and is ranked 1st in NSW and 2nd in Australia.
For both undergraduate and postgraduate Skills Development UOW earned five-star ratings and is ranked number one in NSW.
For postgraduate Student Support UOW secured a five-star rating. รรอลสำฦต also achieved outstanding ratings in the undergraduate subject areas of Education and Training, Nursing, Engineering and Technology, Health Services and Support, Law and Paralegal Studies, Computing and Information Systems, Communications, Agriculture and Environmental Studies, and Social Work.
In Education and Training รรอลสำฦต received five-star ratings in six out of eight categories and was ranked first in NSW for Teaching Quality. In Nursing, รรอลสำฦต was rated five stars and first in NSW for both Learner Engagement and Student Support.
In postgraduate subject areas รรอลสำฦต achieved impressive ratings in Law and Paralegal Studies, Nursing, Psychology, Science and Mathematics, Business and Management, Medicine, Business and Management, and Humanities, Culture and Social Sciences.
In postgraduate Law and Paralegal Studies รรอลสำฦต was ranked first in Australia for Full-Time Employment, Overall Education Experience, Skills Development and Teaching Quality. In Nursing, รรอลสำฦต ranked first in Australia for Learner Engagement and Skills Development and first in NSW for Teaching Quality. In Psychology รรอลสำฦต ranked first in Australia for Full-Time Employment, and Student Support. In Medicine, รรอลสำฦต ranked first in Australia for Full-Time Employment and First in NSW for Learning Resources.
