รรอลสำฦต to host international Frontier Materials Workshop
Five-day event will explore the integration of smart electronics and energy systems
Leading researchers in the fields of electronics, energy systems, bioengineering and biomaterials will gather at the รรอลสำฦต’s (รรอลสำฦต) Innovation Campus next week (Sunday 17 July to Friday 22 July) to share insights in emerging technologies.
The workshop will celebrate the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between รรอลสำฦต and (SKKU) in Seoul, at the first in-person event between the two signatories.
รรอลสำฦต Vice-Chancellor Professor Patricia Davidson said the conference is an exciting way to cement the new relationship between the universities.
“Through รรอลสำฦต’s newly formalised relationship with SKKU we hope to see much sharing of knowledge and development of new and innovative solutions across our region.
“I look forward to the collaboration and exploration that events like these present, where truly groundbreaking technology can be discussed and ideas extended.”
The workshop, hosted by the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials at UOW’s Australian Institute for Innovative Materials will bring together researchers from รรอลสำฦต and SKKU to discuss the latest developments in the integration of smart electronics and energy systems.
Chair of the workshop organising committee Professor , said the program will include two-and-a-half days of presentations on latest research being undertaken at UOW and SKKU.
“Over the five-day workshop, attendees can join presentations and discussions in areas including energy materials, solar cells, smart electronics, biomaterials, advanced materials, piezoelectric and multiferroic materials, fundamental materials science and novel applications,” Professor Kim said.
