รรอลสำฦต responds to latest NSW Health orders for Greater Sydney, Wollongong and Shellharbour
Changes to campus operations, work and study arrangements
The รรอลสำฦต (รรอลสำฦต) has announced changes to campus operations, study and work arrangements for students and staff in line with the latest COVID-19 NSW Health orders.
Following the on Saturday 26 June 2021, รรอลสำฦต Chief Operating Officer, Damien Israel, announced the Universityโs Sydney CBD and Southern Sydney (Loftus) campuses would be closed until further notice in accordance with the stay-at-home restrictions.
ฑซฐฟฐยโs Wollongong, and South Western Sydney (Liverpool) campuses remain open for essential work and education. This includes the Wollongong Campus Library which remains open with reduced capacity to allow for social distancing.
Student residences remain open, but the same stay-at-home orders apply as to any other Wollongong residence. Student residence staff are providing students with further information and assistance.
All Wollongong Campus eateries will be closed, but the IGA supermarket on campus will remain open to enable the purchase of food and essential items.
The , and facilities are closed until further notice.
Staff are being asked to work from home wherever possible and any classes or assessments scheduled for the period of the stay-at-home orders will revert to online mode, unless it is essential for them to be conducted on campus.
Students and staff attending campuses have been reminded to wear masks and maintain social distancing and observe room capacity limits while on campus, in keeping with NSW Health guidance.
The Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven, Batemans Bay and Bega campuses remain open, but masks are required to be worn in all indoor spaces, unless the person is alone in a room. Capacity limits of one person per four square metres apply in all rooms.
