Strong result for รรอลสำฦต in health and science subject rankings

THE Rankings by Subject for Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Clinical and Health, and Psychology

The 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject released its results for science and health subjects this week, revealing strong results for the รรอลสำฦต.

The subject rankings for Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Clinical and Health, and Psychology were released on 16 September. Rankings for other subjects will be released over the next six weeks.

รรอลสำฦต performed particularly strongly in Physical Sciences, maintaining its position in the band of the top 126 to 150 universities in the world, and in Life Sciences where รรอลสำฦต rose into the ranks of the top 176 to 200 universities from its position last year in the 201-250 band.

รรอลสำฦต also performed well in the subjects of Clinical and Health, and Psychology, ranking among the best 301-400 universities in the world for both.

 In Physical Sciences, รรอลสำฦต was the highest ranking non-Group of Eight university, placing 9th in Australia overall.

In Life Sciences, รรอลสำฦต saw improvements across its teaching reputation, research reputation, research citations and a large improvement in the industry income score.

Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science Medicine and Health Professor Eileen McLaughlin congratulated Faculty staff for the achievement.

โ€œThe Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health's investment in people and infrastructure has reaped excellent results,โ€ Professor McLaughlin said. 

โ€œCongratulations to all working in Physical Sciences, who retain their position in the world's top 150 institutions and to Clinical and Health Science who are in the top 350. 

โ€œSpecial congratulations to Life Sciences who have leapt into the top 200 in the world. A testament to years of dedicated hard work in delivering impactful results with excellent teaching and research outcomes.โ€

With the School of Physics and the School of Mathematics and Applied Sciences, which sit within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences (EIS), contributing to the strong result in Physical Science, the Executive Dean of EIS Professor Gursel Alici added his words of congratulations.

โ€œThis fantastic outcome is due to the hard-work, dedication and selfless efforts of the staff over many years. Congratulations to all of them,โ€ Professor Alici said.

โ€œThis is more evidence placing the Faculty disciplines well within top one per cent in the world.โ€

In the overall THE World University Rankings for 2022 released on September 2, รรอลสำฦต ranked 221 in the world (up 10 places from last year). รรอลสำฦต ranked 6th in the world in the THE Impact Rankings this year (up from 31 in the world last year); and jumped three places to rank 23rd in the world In the THE Young Universities Ranking.
