Dr Karl busting scientific myths at UOW
Curly questions, scientific myth-busting and very loud shirts will be the focus of an evening at UOW with Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.
One of Australia’s 100 National Living Treasures, Dr Karl will visit the รรอลสำฦต campus on Friday 5 August to speak with students, staff and alumni.
With a media career spanning more than 30 years and 38 books (to date), Dr Karl has earned degrees in Physics and Maths, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine and Surgery and has a range of accolades, including the Ig Nobel Prize from Harvard University for his groundbreaking research into belly button fluff and why it is almost always blue.
Dr Karl will be delivering a presentation, followed by a Q&A session and book signing. Staff and students have been asked to send in their most burning science questions The event will be catered and guests will be able to purchase a range of Dr Karl’s books.

Dr Karl will also be delivering a keynote address at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics on Saturday 6 August.
